Where do files from my chats go?

They stay in the chat. Files you attached and files the AI made are shown on the messages, so you can open or download them there at any time

Each chat also has its own folder in Files, under Home → Chats:

• Uploads: files you attached
• Generations: files the AI created in that chat
• chat.md: the full conversation as text
• memory.md: what the AI remembers about this chat

Files the AI downloads from the web are saved to Downloads

Chat files count towards your storage like any other file
