My storage is full. What can I do?

The bar at the bottom of the Files sidebar shows how much space you use. Hover over it to see the split between files, version history and the Bin. All three count

To free space:

• Open the Bin in Files and delete items permanently
• Delete large files you no longer need, then remove them from the Bin too
• Delete old versions of big files in Version history

To get more space:

• Premium has 100 GB instead of 200 MB. See the pricing page
• Settings → Plan and credits → Add more storage space adds extra space for credits

While storage is full, your existing files stay safe and you can still open them. New files can be added again as soon as there is room

If you end up over the limit, for example after Premium or extra storage ends, you have 6 months to get back under it. In that time, free up space, get more storage or download the files you want to keep somewhere else
